GlobTek is hiring a Shipping Clerk for our shipping and warehouse department in Northvale, New Jersey. You'll receive, pack and ship orders, prepare accurate shipping documentation and schedule freight, working with the warehouse team to get every order out on time.
What you'll do
- Pack and unpack orders on a busy departmental schedule
- Locate and pick stock using our warehouse organization systems
- Create shipping labels and documents in FedEx, UPS and DHL online systems
- Prepare export filings (SED/SLI) and bills of lading for freight shipments
- Schedule pickups with carriers and freight companies
- Follow customer routing guides and shipping instructions
- Ship hazardous materials, including lithium-ion batteries, correctly
- Coordinate with other departments and outside partners
What you'll bring
- Experience with UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager
- Experience shipping hazmat, including lithium-ion batteries
- Previous warehouse experience
- Strong computer skills
- Detail-oriented and well organized
- Good customer service skills and a team player
