Note 4 (Earth connections): | For the open-frame version, connect the four M3 mounting holes to earth. Mounting to a metal plate is recommended. Insulation may be required between the PCB and metallic enclosure if standoff height is insufficient.
For all versions, ensure adequate spacing between power supply PCBA and earth. Heatsinks are live and are not connected to earth. Check pertinent safety standards for specific spacing and isolation requirements.
The baseplate (-BP) version is recommended when the system enclosure is non-conductive. |
