GlobTek's Supply Chain Compliance and Uninterrupted Production Following EU Sanctions on Yangjie Electronic Technology

This memo serves to formally address the European Union's recent sanctions against Yangzhou Yangjie Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. (Yangjie) and confirm GlobTek’s complete compliance and preparedness.


GlobTek's Compliance and Procurement Status


The European Union added Yangjie to its Russia-related sanctions framework, effective April 23, 2026. To ensure absolute regulatory compliance, GlobTek has immediately ceased all new procurement of materials from Yangjie. We are fully committed to upholding all international trade restrictions, even though the sanctions are not currently U.S.-based.


Assessment and Risk Mitigation

  • Component Usage: A full internal review confirmed that while certain minor components from Yangjie were in use in some power supply models up to the date of the sanctions, the affected components are generally common commodity parts (such as diodes and rectifiers).
  • Safety Status: We confirm that none of the components supplied by Yangjie are considered safety-critical components or safety control components in our power solutions.
  • Alternate Sources in BOM: Due to our long-standing policy of maintaining multiple approved suppliers (second sourcing) in our Bills of Materials (BOMs), we were able to switch the supplier for new procurement immediately.

Production Continuity Guarantee


Due to our established, multi-sourced Bills of Materials and proactive inventory management:

  • Production Continuity: Production shall not be interrupted.
  • Seamless Transition: The switch to an alternate approved supplier does not require retesting, re-qualification, or other major effects, ensuring a seamless and continuous supply of products that meet all regulatory and quality standards.
  • Existing Stock: We maintain sufficient existing inventory of the Yangjie components to cover the transition period.

We assure our customers that GlobTek remains fully compliant with all applicable regulations and that our supply chain integrity is maintained, guaranteeing no disruption to your ordered products.
