GlobTek announces its commitment to the
EU Directive 2002/95/EC Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) which
was implemented on July 1st 2006.
GlobTek is committed to be in compliance
with all applicable laws and safety regulations including the European
Union Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive. This directive
will restrict the use of Lead (Pb), Mercury, Cadmium, Hexavalent Chromium
and two Bromine-containing flame retardants, PBB (Polybrominated Biphenyls)
and PBDE (Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers), in electrical and electronic
products. GlobTek’s goal is to exceed compliance obligations by meeting
the requirements of the RoHS Directive on a worldwide basis.
